David Alfieri

Founder

David Alfieri holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Creighton University and has had a successful career as a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT Clinical Pharmacist. In this role, he actively participated on multidisciplinary rounds, managed drug related adverse events, contributed to Children’s Oncology Group clinical trials, and managed the pharmacokinetic dosing of various anticancer drugs. He was instrumental in revolutionizing conscience sedation for pediatric patients undergoing a variety of medical procedures.

Transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, David distinguished himself in Medical Affairs as a National MSL Director for multiple companies. He built and led numerous successful hematology/oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) teams, and his leadership was instrumental in numerous successful drug launches. His innovation led to new career opportunities for MSLs, most notably, Distinguished MSL and Field Medical Director roles. David’s expertise extends globally, having been a global lead in building a best-in-class medical excellence team that pioneered the use of artificial intelligence for insight analysis and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) mapping, launch excellence and Congress planning.

David is also a dedicated mentor, having guided numerous MSLs with the creation of professional development plans, assisting them in the pursuit of their career goals. His commitment to excellence and innovation has made a significant impact on patients, colleagues, pediatric clinical pharmacy, and oncology medical affairs.

Gerard Deisenroth

Founder

Gerard Deisenroth holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (formerly St. Louis College of Pharmacy) and has amassed a distinguished career in Clinical Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy Administration.

As a seasoned Medical Affairs leader, Gerard consistently exceeds expectations and delivers measurable results. His proven track record encompasses successful drug launches, strategic KOL engagement, comprehensive training programs, innovative medical strategy, and effective team leadership.

Gerard has a demonstrated history of launching multiple drugs and indications, building and mentoring high-performing Medical Science Liaison (MSL) teams, and developing robust Field Medical Excellence programs. Driven by a passion for bringing innovative therapies to market and improving patient outcomes, Gerard also actively supports others in their career transitions into the pharmaceutical industry. He serves on the Mentorship Committee of the Medical Affairs Professional Society and actively mentors colleagues, managers and clinical professionals who wish to join industry.
